Third Endorsement Re Findings of Special Board of Medical Examiners (June 25, 1941)

1. Forwarded, concurring in the recommendation of the Commandant of the Navy Yard, Washington, D.C. that Mr. Lafayette Ronald Hubbard be appointed a Lieutenant (jg), I-V(S), USNR and assigned to the quota of the Chief of Naval Operations.

2. In view of paragraph 1 of the District Intelligence Officer’s letter dated June 4, 1941 which indicates that Mr. Hubbard has the required education for this appointment, it is recommended that the lack of formal education in this case be waived.
