Subject: Orders, Compliance With (June 19, 1942)

1. Receipt of a modification of my orders of November 24, 1941, is hereby acknowledged.
2. My orders of November 24, 1941, reading similarly in all details, were carried out without the advantage of leave, and I departed from the Pacific Coast for Asiatic Station on December 17, 1941. This modification, though not received until now, has therefore met full compliance.
