This research area is under development. The Scientologists’ plan for their “new civilization” includes insinuating into society a number of Hubbard’s “social reform” and outreach programs: World Institute of Scientology Enterprises (WISE), Scientology Missions International (SMI), Narconon, Applied Scholastics, The Way To Happiness, International Hubbard Ecclesiastical League of Pastors (I HELP), Citizens Commission On Human Rights (CCHR), The Volunteer Minister Program, and Criminon. Each program targets a “field” or sector of society, with the goal of bringing the targeted people and groups under the control of the Scientology hierarchy. These social reform groups and outreach programs coincide with the Scientology Angles, some of which are represented here.
