The Chief Secretary, Mr. Rylah has ordered an inquiry into the activities of Scientologists.
The Government action follows a report on Scientologists sent to the Chief and secretary by the Victorian secretary of the British Medical Association, Dr. S. K. Dickson.
Mr. Dickson said this week he had brought some information about Scientologists to Mr. Rylah’s attention.
Asked if the [ ] had sought Government action against Scientologists, Dr. Dickson replied: “Not entirely”.
Scientology is said to be a branch of psychology which [enhances] human ability.
When used by a trained or untrained person it is claimed to improve health, intelligence, ability, behavior, skill and appearance of people. [ ]
