RE: Lafayette Ronald Hubbard, Lt. (jg)On March 28th we wrote you in connection with subject’s indebtedness to us in the amount of $130.75, incurred in June of 1941. We were then advised by your office that our letter will be referred to the above for a reply direct to use We understood that the subject was outside of the territory of the United States.
On June 5th we received a letter from Lt. Hubbard from New York City advising that he would pay us and that we were next on his list. However, all our subsequent letters to him were left unanswered, nor did we receive a remittance from him.
Your co-operation in this instance would be greatly appreciated.
